Flights to Sardinia

The main airports are at Cagliari on the South coast (Cagliari Elmas), Olbia on the North East coast (Aeroporto Internazionale di Olbia Costa Smeralda) and Alghero on the Noth West coast (Alghero Fertila) and link Sardinia with major Italian and European cities. Please note that some routes are restricted to between April and October.

From the UK, Sardinia is connected with direct flights by the following airlines:

Easyjet flies from London Stansted into Cagliari or into Olbia from Bristol or London Gatwick.

British Airways flies from London Heathrow or Manchester into Cagliari or Olbia

Ryanair runs cheap flights from London Stansted or Dublin to Alghero

Jet2 Connects Olbia airport with Edinburgh or Leeds Bradford

BMI fly into Alghero from East Midlands Airport

Thomson fly into Alghero from London Gatwick

Meridiana Fly link London Gatwick to Olbia

Alternatively, Alitalia and Meridiana both offer good flights from the UK with short connections on mainland Italy to all Sardinia airports

Please contact us if you would like more information on airlines serving Sardinia from other locations.
